Description

The key to this project is getting a good shape and perfectly smooth finish and I am going to show you exactly how to achieve it, with easy step by step instructions and more photographs than you can shake a tail feather at. Suitable for confident beginners and more experienced needle felters.

MAKE TIME: 3-5 hours. See description below for more details.

FULL KIT CONTENTS – Makes one large chicken (approximately 13cmH x 18L) or two smaller ones.

  • Downloadable pattern plus option for printed pattern
  • White core wool approx. 20-25g for body, head, and neck.
  • 10g white carded batting for covering the body and making the wings
  • Pinch light brown wool for eyes and eyebrows
  • Pinch of orange for the beak
  • 2g of contrasting colour for the crown and waddle
  • 5 thin pieces of wool tops (bright colours) for the tail
  • 2 x Standard felting needle – size 38 is a good all-rounder
  • 1 x Fine felting needle – size 40
  • Wooden BBQ skewer (or similar) for shaping the head – optional
  • Felting mat

All you will need are a pair of sharp scissors.

  • You will need felting needle, felting mat, sharp scissors, and BBQ skewer for shaping the head (optional).

Keep away from young children and pets. Suitable for age 12 and over but please use your own discretion. Please supervise children at all times due to sharp needles and use finger guards.

UK POSTAL CHARGES
All UK orders include delivery and are sent via Royal Mail 48 or 1st class post. If you need your item in a hurry, please upgrade to 24 tracked at the checkout.

COMBINED POSTAGE – UK AND INTERNATIONAL
All orders over £45 will automatically receive 10% discount at checkout for combined postage. For all other orders where items can be sent in fewer packages, you will receive a manual combined postage refund; this is usually when there are a lot of items in your order as it is difficult to accurately calculate every combination of products.

PROCESSING TIME
This is the time it takes to prepare your order for delivery: 2-3 working days but usually 1 or 2.
Orders are not posted on a Saturday or Sunday.

DELIVERY TIME AFTER POSTING
UK is normally 2-3 days but can be longer depending on the time of year, and Royal Mail staff shortages. International average is 7-14 days but can, on rare occasions, take up to 6 weeks.

Your order will automatically be converted to the currency of your country to make your shopping and ordering process much easier.
Postal Charges
Flat fee for the first item and reduced fee for each item thereafter. Please see the DELIVERY PAGE for individual countries charges.

Tracking
Your order will be sent with full international tracking via Royal Mail.

RETURNS
Items must be returned within 30 days of receipt. If 30 days have gone by since you received your item, a refund or exchange cannot be offered.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the original packaging.
You are responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. We recommend using a trackable shipping service as we cannot be held responsible for missing parcels.

REFUNDS
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and whether your return is in its original and unopened condition.
